"Are you hearing, what they're Preaching?" pt.1

"For whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on Him in Whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a Preacher? And how shall they Preach' except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them who Preach the Gospel of Peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the Gospel. For Isaiah said, Lord, who has believed our report? So then Faith comes by hearing, and hearing

by the Word of God.

"What are they Preaching?"

There are many voices, many messages, that are being sent out over all the various media outlets. Every political opinion, social comment, marketing fads, breakthrough health ideas, and new scientific news, bombard us, in order to influence our way of thinking and lifestyles. We, as a society( meaning world wide social media) give sight, sound, and thought to every idea,event,and narrative, that the mainstream media brings up. They are often blown up, played out, and decided in social media, thus formulating and swaying, public opinion. They are often, at times, done so without full disclosure of the facts of the situations. Thus allowing words, and intent, to be taken out of context, in doing so, developing a false narrative that lead many to jump to premature, and sometimes wrong conclusions. The declaration of this type of "preaching" doesn't lead to anything other than more division, anger, hatred, strife, and even violent conflicts.The more these narratives are "preached"and promoted,the more people will believe them. Even Christians can be swayed, by public opinion, to one side of an issue or the other, if we give non-biblical thought, to the issues and situations in question. What are they preaching? As the Church,we must remember the last command Jesus made to the disciples, in Mark 16, the Great Commission! "Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature."! This is the Message that we, the Church of the Living God, must preach to a lost world buying into the lies, and trappings of this present world system. We have the only answer, to the problems, and deceit, of this world. At least,we should have. Granted, we are to live, and function in this world, but are not to be influenced and conformed by the world's motives, methods, and means. We are to preach the Good News of Jesus Christ, and Him crucified, that whosoever calls on Him, for forgiveness for their sins, shall be saved. Hallelujah! That is the "Best News". People being set free, by the Power of the Holy Spirit to believe, and grow in Faith, by hearing the Word of God preached. Word that leads to Life,and life abundantly,not strife by a false narrative. What they"re preaching is not what we need to hear and follow. We need the Word of God, The Way,The Truth,The Life...Jesus. So Church,are you hearing,what they(the world) are preaching? or, "are you preaching, what they need to hear?"
